Today has been a full , hands on, hard work day. The new flowerbed and the vegie patch extension have been nearly finished. My partner put the finishing touches to the edging, and then I applied 2 bags cow manure, 2 bags mushroom compost, 2 bags mixed manure, 1 bag chook poo, 5k blood and bone, and the compost from 2 bins. If that doesn`t improve the soil nothing will. Tomorrow hopefully I`ll get some composted fine mulch and it will be ready for the plants.
I also decided to put all my tomato seedlings in their containers and the vegie patch. It`s a bit difficult to know where to put them since the greenhouse got wind damage and they all fell on the floor and lost their labels. A lot of them were Sweet Tumblers for containers and some were Tommy Toes, large cherry toms. Anyway, I`ve got far too many of them .
