Two or three solid days of rain have kept me from working on my project. I know we still need the rain but it`s VERY FRUSTRATING when you can`t keep going.
Yesterday was a dry day but the bed was like a bog so I decided to just sort the roses out and put them in their positions still in pots.
Today was dry and sunny so it was THE day to plant. I was surprised to find I could fit 24 roses in quite easily and there is room for the 3 standards I`m getting from Happy Potter on Saturday. YAY !!
Still got a few pots to drop into the other flowerbed, but was too tired to do that today - they need really deep holes :)
I repotted a couple of other roses and dug up 2 that were being overcrowded by the lime tree which has had a huge growth spurt lately. They went into pots too.
The old lemon tree is looking great now, lots of newgrowth and flowers. The little lemonade tree is doing well too. :):)
