Val`s Obsession

A Gardening Diary

Tuesday, September 04, 2007

At last I sprayed the nectarine against leafcurl, hope it`s not too late !
I transplanted hundreds of little Alyssum seedlings around the rosebed a very tedious task. The greenhouse was revamped by potting up several Plectranthus cuttings which had been growing in a group to individual pots. They`re really big enough to go outside now but it won`t hurt to wait a while. Also sorted out some Fuschia cuttings which will need new homes soon. i`ve got the gardening group here on the 27th so they can have a pick amongst them all.
Yesterday I got my Garden Express order - 2 English lavenders, 2 Banksia Roses, a Silver Princess, and 2 Blue Marguerites and a Stephanotis. The yellow Bougainvillea will be delivered later. I potted them all up today :)
Next task is to be spraying Seaweed concentrate on eveything, then charlie Carp.
:D
