Well it`s about time i got back to the subject this blog is supposed to be about. Gardening.
Since my last post not a lot has been going on out there. Struggling to keep it all alive mostly. I`m really worried about the Fuschias under the willow, they`re looking sick as. One of them has only 1 stem left and this time last year it was huge with glorious flowers. I`ve taken more cuttings from them so if they die I can still grow new ones and keep them in pots. The ones already in pots are fine, as are the roses I dug up and potted, they have mostly started new growth already.
I have re-potted all my strawberries as they were infested with ants. I used half potting mix and half coir as i was told that the ants will not colonise this. Wrong. They are still there and eating the fruit too. What a waste of time and money. I will put some ant granules around the pots but not in them as it`s toxic.
I haven`t potted up my new plants yet. maybe tomorrow.
